Join us for The Collaborative: Event 4

The Collaborative invites you to join us for an exciting event dedicated to creating change in suicide prevention. We are seeking individuals who are committed to making a difference and invite you to be part of this movement.

During the event, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Connect and collaborate with like-minded individuals who share both similar and diverse interests.

  • Engage in a series of creative and interactive events designed to inspire and empower.

  • Explore new systems and approaches collectively, with the aim of preventing and reducing the impact of suicide.

Our vision is to establish a regional network of leaders and influential individuals from various communities and sectors in FNQ (Far North Queensland). By sharing our wisdom and working together, we can effect positive change.

It has been a while since our last meeting, where we had the privilege of hearing from Kylie, Tynan, and Marnie. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to exchange ideas, make connections, and enjoy a brown bag style snack.

Our next Collaborative event, the fourth and final in this series, will take place on Tuesday, July 18, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Salt House Sailing Room. Light refreshments will be provided.

To add a new twist and fulfill our promise of a stand-up networking-style event, we have chosen a different venue and time for this occasion.

The event will feature an SPCAP Recap, where we will review our accomplishments and the connections we have established together. We will also take a forward-looking approach, discussing what matters most to us and how we can advance the Collaborative's goals. Additionally, due to popular demand, we will reintroduce the speed dating-style activity, providing you with more opportunities to meet and connect with everyone present.

Furthermore, we will share updates from the National Suicide Prevention Conference and delve into some of the current critical discussions in the field.

Please mark this important date in your diary!
