Critical Shifts

Access

What is Access?

Access refers to the fair and equitable availability of services, supports, and fundamental components necessary for a good quality of life. It goes beyond mere availability, encompassing affordability, proximity, and the removal of systemic barriers that hinder individuals from obtaining essential services and resources.

Opportunity: A series of concepts and solutions to inspire and drive change.

Context: Statements that give context and create an understanding of the current state.

Action: A prompt to consider where to place the emphasis of action and who else might be interested in a move to the ideal ‘future state’.
